# of Nights



A 4 course gourmet breakfast is included in your stay and is served from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM at a time of your choice.  Each morning we have :

  • Home made Granola
  • choice of 3 juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate (also hot spiced cider from Oct-March)
  • Fresh fruit
  • Hearty entree (never the same thing twice)
  • Grande Finale dessert - not too big but yum!

We use local organically grown fruits and vegetables whenever possible. 

Breakfasts items you may see include Lemon Pecan Pancakes,  Crepes with various fruits, Egg souffle's, garden fritattas, & home-made baked goods such as Croissants, Danish, muffins and cobbler's. We serve different fresh foods each morning.

You may even meet our food consultant (Debra B) on special weekends.


Also available: Afternoon tea, Fruit, Non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers and snacks.   Special meals available: Low Fat, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Lactose free and low carb.

Let us know of any food restrictions when making your reservation and we will tailor a menu that you can enjoy.

Gooseberry Chutney

Top and tail the berries and chop roughly. Chop the onions finely and cook with the berries in the water until they are well softened. Add the other ingredients, and simmer until the chutney becomes thick, stirring occasionally. Bottle while hot and cover immediately.

This chutney, yielding about

4.5 lbs becomes more mellow in flavour the longer it is kept.

  • 3 lb. gooseberries
  • 0.5 lb. onions
  • 1 lb. sugar
  • 0.5 pint water
  • 0.5 oz. salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne
  • pepper
  • 1 pint vinegar
